It lets others limit what our best can be, when we could be free to realize that for ourselves.
It keeps us inexplicably idolizing the rockiness of the richest, instead of spending our resources to help the world’s poorest.
It keeps us teaching each other and our children to sacrifice themselves to pointless pursuits. These “good enough” diversions shackle our ability to perpetuate the best life-giving, lasting legacy.
It keeps us accepting a status quo consistently proven to not work. Thus we fear to unify the best of differing perspectives to create solution that do work.
It keeps us afraid to advocate for what is right, making wrong seem normal and eventually even preferred.
It keeps us pointing the finger and exaggerating faults in others. This only impedes our own progress, as we don’t admit and learn from our own faults.
It keeps us anxious and depressed, knowing – not so deep down – how so many people needlessly suffer and die as a result of all of our fear and apathy.
It keeps us drowning each other in the mire of mediocrity, to convince us our situation is acceptable. It keeps us from the courage to lift each other upward to soar in the sky.
And it’s only as strong as you give it power to be.
What is it? It’s insecurity.
No human can know what you are worth or what you are capable of. Not me. Not even you. Only a Creator can know everything that went into the created, every circumstance surrounding the created, and what the created will be most happy and fulfilled doing with his/her life. And my Creator paid the price of mockery, rejection, torture, and death for me – and you – to be able to join him in this productivity and perfection (Click to tweet).
His voice is truly the only one that matters. What he says about the worth and purpose he gave us reduces insecurity to ashes, turns death into life (John 10:9-10, Matthew 6:31-33, 5:11-12, 2 Timothy 1:7-8, 1 Timothy 6:17-19, 2 Corinthians 9:8-11)!
When you embrace the uniquely authoritative, unshakeable security God established through Jesus, you become free to dismiss the lies of others, instead of being enslaved by them. Free to incorporate truth from others, instead of fearing and hating it (Click to tweet). Every comment – even insults – are opportunities to grow, if we focus on where we can take truth from them…instead of where we can take offense in them. Free to transcend mediocrity to be your best, instead of being imprisoned by the status quo that’s (not really) good enough. And free to bring a surprising amount of life and security to thousands of others, instead of looking back wishing you had.
Our partnership with blessbig.org allows you to easily and quickly defeat a lot of depression by transforming death to life, in a cause that’s fulfilling for you to aid. Master insecurity by making a BIG proven difference there!

Let’s kill insecurity, so it won’t keep killing us.
